BSNL's Penta T PAD tablets are released recently in the market. BSNL has announced on friday 24th Feb., 2012 that it would bring three tablets into the market in partner ship with Pantel, a company based in Noida. Out of these three tablets, the cheapest one which will be sold is IS 701R which is priced at Rs.3,250. This price is just few hundred rupees more than the commercial version of Aakash. This model of tablet has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and comes with camera of 0.3 Mega Pixels.
The Penta T PAD IS 701R tablet from BSNL has a 7" display and is powered by a 1 GHz processor and comes with RAM of 256 MB. The tablet from BSNL has a resistive screen and runs on Android operating system. This tablet is going to be sold along with special data plans and 3G services from BSNL.
The other two tablets offered by BSNL are priced at Rs.10,999 and Rs.13,500 and they have a capacitive screens. These two tablets too are manufactured by Pantel.
The Penta T PAD IS701R tablet from BSNL has a 2 GB storage onboard which allows you to store movies, music and photos. There is a microSD card slot which can allow upto 32 GB. You can easily send and receive emails easily.
